Who you are buying from
Spaces Bar is sold by Graeme Boulton, trading as Appetised, of 32 Comfrey Drive, Morpeth, NE61 3FN, United Kingdom. Contact: help@appetised.com.
Payments are processed by Paddle, who act as the merchant of record. Paddle appears on your statement and issues your receipt.
Your licence
Buying grants you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use Spaces Bar on up to three Macs you own or control. You may not resell, sublicense or redistribute it, or attempt to defeat its licensing.
A licence includes updates released within 12 months of purchase. The version you have keeps working indefinitely — what ends is entitlement to newer builds, not the software you paid for. Future major versions may be a paid upgrade.
What the software does to your Mac
Spaces Bar changes macOS settings in order to work: it can resize windows, and if you enable those options it adjusts your Dock's size and position and can move your Dock's pinned apps into the taskbar. It backs up your Dock settings first and can restore them, and it restores them automatically when it quits.
It uses Apple programming interfaces that are not publicly documented in order to see which desktop a window is on. These can change in a macOS update. If one does, the app may stop working correctly until it is updated.
No warranty
The software is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, no warranty is given that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will remain compatible with future versions of macOS.
Nothing here limits your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including your right to a refund for goods that are not as described or not of satisfactory quality.
Liability
Liability is limited to the amount you paid. Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
