The app
Spaces Bar makes no network connections. It has no analytics, no crash reporting and no update check. Nothing about how you use it reaches us or anyone else.
Your licence is verified on your own Mac by checking a cryptographic signature. It is never sent anywhere, and there is no account to create.
The app reads information about your open windows — their titles, sizes and which desktop they are on — purely to draw the taskbar. That information stays in memory on your Mac and is never written to disk or transmitted.
This website
No cookies, no analytics and no tracking of any kind. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes one request to Google to fetch them and Google sees your IP address in doing so. Nothing else on the page is third-party. Our host keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for a short period for security and reliability.
Buying
Payments are handled by Paddle as merchant of record. They collect your payment and billing details directly and are the data controller for that information — see Paddle's privacy notice. We receive your name, email address and country in order to issue your licence and provide support.
If you email help@appetised.com we keep that correspondence so we can help you. We do not send marketing email and there is no mailing list.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. Contact help@appetised.com.
