Installing

1. Open the downloaded disk image.
2. Drag Spaces Bar onto the Applications shortcut.
3. Open it from your Applications folder.

Keep it in Applications. macOS ties permissions to where an app lives, so moving it later means granting them again.

Permissions

Accessibility — required

Lets the bar bring windows forward and keep them clear of itself. Without it, clicking a taskbar button cannot switch apps. macOS will prompt on first launch.

Screen Recording — optional

Used only for window previews and for searching windows by title. Nothing is recorded or sent anywhere; macOS simply has no narrower permission for reading a window's title. Skip it and the rest of the app works normally.

Removing it

Settings has an Undo everything and quit button. It puts your Dock and gestures back as they were, removes the login item, and shows the app in Finder so you can drag it to the Trash. Your licence is kept, so reinstalling later does not cost you anything.
